Open Day 2007

On the 10th June 2007 we welcomed approximately 600 people onto the farm as part of national Open Farm Sunday. It was the culmination of several weeks work, tidying up, planning the day and putting up signs just for starters, and an opportunity for the public to come and appreciate a beautiful day in the British countryside.

Among the attractions on offer were trailer rides to the dairy and pig units, with shearing demonstrations, pigs, lambs, sheep and machinery in the farmyard. Tea and cake at 50p also helped to raise £126 for the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution.
